Hi, I'm John Towle and I am a sea kayaker as well as keen carpenter with over 30 years experience of working with wood.

After some interest in my work it was suggested that I put a small site together displaying my wares - so to speak. I have been experimenting with making all types of paddles from many different woods. Recently I have turned my attention to Greenland style paddles made from both cedar and beech. Here are a few examples of my work.

Here are a sample of a few paddles I have carved recently. The centre one is designed upon a traditional West Greenland Style Paddle.

My workshop is just a humble garage but i have been turning out top quality work from within here for many years.
